Putting on her usual high energy performance, Madonna paid an unusual tribute to those affected by Hurricane Sandy earlier this week (November 12).
The Material Girl revealed during her Madison Square Garden concert that she?d visited the Big Apple's heavily damaged Rockaways area earlier in the day, further explaining that she witnessed amazing acts of humanity, saying, ?Why do we always have to wait until a catastrophe happens to show this kind of love and compassion??
For her part, the 54-year-old songstress asked audience members to toss money on stage as she stripped down during her hit song ?Like a Virgin? to raise funds for the hurricane victims.
?(I am) showing (my) naked a** for Hurricane Sandy victims,? the always-classy Material Girl said. ?If you are going to look at the crack of my a**, you better raise some cash.?
